Position Summary
The Manager of FP&A will provide financial insights to drive business strategy and optimize decision making for the Naturium brand at e.l.f. Cosmetics.
Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in the company’s annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and long-term planning processes.
• Analyze and synthesize sales data to inform forward looking projections.
• Work directly with Sales and Operations teams to support Sales planning process and manage related expense forecasts.
• Set and manage product margin targets by product category to ensure continuous blended margin improvement.
• Conduct ROI analyses for new customer launches, merchandising programs, planogram resets and capital expenditures.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
• Support LEAN cost savings initiatives by working with business partners to understand opportunities, model options and propose actions.
• Other ad hoc projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
• B.S. in Finance, Accounting or equivalent from a leading undergraduate institution; MBA a plus.
• 5-7 years of financial analysis experience in Consumer Products or Retail.
• Superior analytical and modeling skills, in-depth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly-driven and self-motivated.
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and collaborate across departments and levels.
$95,000 - $120,000 a year
