Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair in support of production equipment and the facility. In this role, the technician will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. Logical-thinking and troubleshooting skills are critical. This position is critical to the safe and efficient operation of the facility.General working hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am, may vary based on business needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO - MAINTENANCE:
- Safety: Always ensure the complete physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers without exception
- Assist the production team with efficient day starts and equipment performance through the day.
- Inspect machinery: Knowledge of machine equipment for proper performance and to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment to determine the required repair.
- Perform machine repair and maintenance, possibly including corrections and alterations, to ensure it remains in a proper productive state.
- Assist with or perform the troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing systems.
- Perform general facility maintenance tasks as required.
- Determine material, equipment, and supplies needed for daily maintenance functions and ensure work orders are completed accurately, timely, and cost effectively.
- Ensure plant preventative maintenance programs are supported and maintained.
- Assist in maintaining chemical and repair parts inventory.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES:
- Education/Training: High School education or equivalent preferred; additional mechanic training or trade school degree preferred
- New graduates from tech programs encouraged to apply
- Minimum 1-year job-related experience
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic and other systems
- Solid problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify problems and react appropriately.
- Proficiency with a wide range of tools and applications.
