The position will report to the Senior Manager, Retail Marketing. This role is remote, however candidate should be based on the NYC metro area with ability to go into the office on an as-needed basis.


In conjunction with the Senior Manager of Retail Marketing, the Assistant Manager will support the growth and development of Sol de Janeiro in the LATAM and Canada regions. He/She will assist in executing omnichannel marketing strategies to build brand awareness and drive traffic in each channel to maximize growth potential, drive long term profitability and build brand equity.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans including all merchandising & sampling strategies, promotional activities, and product launches at Sephora LATAM, Sephora Canada, Military & Boutiques.
  • Partner closely with Key Account team to deliver retailer business needs such as product requests, sampling, collateral, and assets to support launches and drive core.
  • In partnership with merchant team, deliver best-in-class product page assets and copy and pitch loyalty program participation to drive sales volume, new client acquisition, and brand retention.
  • Assist in the presentation development, meeting prep, and follow-up of seasonal Market Meetings.
  • Submit and manage all creative requests/briefs to ensure timely development and optimal effectiveness of all marketing programs.
  • Maintain team's marketing and merchandising calendars.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to brief & traffic retailer specific advertising, promotions, and supporting digital content including paid & social media.
  • In partnership with Sephora US Assistant Manager, lead Sephora Squad campaign briefing and content development.
  • Partner with internal social team to deliver exclusive social content for use on sephora channels.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required minimum.
  • 3+ years in of marketing experience in cosmetics/beauty industry is highly desire.
  • Experience in Sephora is a plus.
  • Experience in Latin America and Canada region(s) a plus.
  • Located in NYC Metro Area with ability to go into office as needed.
  • Attention to detail and organizational/time management skills.
  • Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Desire to work in a strong team environment. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of competitive marketplace, online space, and specialty store retail environment.
  • PC Proficiency (Microsoft Suite); Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

Salary Range

$75,000—$85,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
