The position will report to the Senior Manager, Production and Supply Planning and they will partner with various stakeholders to support our Production Planning needs, through Contract Manufacturing and Component Vendor management. To manage the execution of the finished good production plan, maintain the proper inventory levels to support our customer demand, ensure daily communication with copackers and component suppliers, coordinate assembly projects, all in concert with our budget and overall support of our organizational goals.

Job Duties:

• Work with the Production Planning Manager to plan/monitor finished goods, new products, components, bulk purchase order placements and production schedules.
• Place and execute purchase orders under the direction of the Production Planning Manager
• Communicate with component and/or finished good manufacturing vendors daily to ensure schedules and deliveries are firm.
• Track the delivery of finished goods/components and update in ERP system (NetSuite)
• Maintain system reports – sending out open order reports to vendors/component delivery reports to fillers.
• Work with suppliers to expedite late or urgent orders; Analyze impact of late orders
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships.
• Work with Logistics Team to ensure timely pickup of components and finished goods
• Work cross functionally with internal teams on timing and execution of new product launches
• Work with Finance and Inventory on any discrepancies in costing or receipt.
• Additional duties as required to support Operations team
  
  

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Planning or related fields
• 3-5+ years' experience in either Production Planning or Supply Chain fields related Contract Manufacturing
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Attention to detail – must analyze many pieces of data to understand risks associated with demand
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to operate effectively and efficiently on an independent level
• A strong business sense and experience operating in small to medium-sized business environment.
• Net Suite experience is preferred.
• Beauty Industry experience is preferred.
  
  

Salary Range

$70,000—$80,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
