As Assistant Project Manager - Creative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within one of the fastest growing beauty brands in the industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist in project coordination, ensure timely trafficking of assets, and support the timely delivery of 360 GTM launch toolkits supporting our body category. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This role reports to the Associate Director, Creative Project Management. This role is a hybrid role based in NYC that requires 1-2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of creative projects to ensure that briefs are complete, and executional details are clear. Must confirm that the work can be properly executed and delivered according to the brief timeline before the project is accepted.
  • Review all work order requests timeline expectations against the reality of the working teams' current workload. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Communicate and prioritize upcoming projects for the Creative team so they can focus on the creative and not be burdened with the Project Management of their work. Coordinate project activities, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with commercial marketing, fellow creative, and product teams to support the timely delivery of 360 GTM launch toolkits.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather asset requirements and ensure assets meet specifications.
  • Ensure the quality of project deliverables and conduct detailed review of work with Creative Leads to ensure the work has been proofread, brand guidelines are adhered to and final releases reflect all final feedback from GTM Marketing Teams.
  • Review progress in Asana to ensure tasks are progressing, following up on outstanding questions in tasks and identify when questions/topics should be added to agendas for further discussion and alignment.
  • Take detailed notes during Marketing x Creative meetings and reviews to document feedback and next steps, distribute promptly at the close of the meeting to all working teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare visibility reports summarizing project status, key milestones, and upcoming activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project status updates.
  • Communicate and prioritize upcoming projects for the Creative team so they can focus on the creative and not be burdened with the planning of their work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in relevant roles. GTM Beauty experience required.
  • Willingness to embrace change to refine process in an operational creative environment.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Comfortable in Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Experience with Wrike or similar Project Management platforms.
  • Collaborative team player who can effectively work with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and manage priorities.
  • Understand how to prioritize projects according to the brand needs and timelines.
  • Ability to proactively seek diversification of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Has the natural passion to work in a creative environment with the emotional intelligence and sensitivity to work with creative.
  • Smart, creative thinker with a sense of humor and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Salary Range

$85,000—$105,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
