The Regional Education Manager (REM) is a key role for the strategic planning, execution, and management of Education in the field as they are responsible for communicating the Sol de Janeiro education message to our regional retail field teams as well as the sales teams at the retailers within their appointed distribution channels. As a key member of the Global Education team, the REM helps conceptualize and develop interactive education content, education videos, demonstration techniques and client services for specific regions. Assists in the development and delivery of market-specific and culturally relevant brand education materials, digital tools and videos focused on product knowledge and client service to significantly impact education initiatives for Sol de Janeiro.
The position will report to the Director, Global Education. This role requires travel to any location assigned and other company identified meeting spaces, per business needs.
Overall Responsibilities:
$115,000—$135,000 USD
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.

Overall Responsibilities:
- Assists in the education content development for the brand: conducting education needs analyses, leading ideation sessions with SDJ Field Team and retail partners, designing and editing education programs and materials, and researching education methods, technologies, and theories of adult learning on an ongoing basis.
- Visit stores and works in the field regularly to stay connected to project and programming execution and how they live in store.
- Participate in regional meetings and conference calls to provide partnership and create solutions to address business needs.
- Supports field and retails teams by facilitating larger cluster trainings or master classes as requested within assigned regions.
- Meets with retail teams on a regular basis to assess further opportunities for growth and brand exposure.
- Assists with the development and coaching of region's Account Executives and Account Coordinators in partnership with Sales Leadership.
- Continuously assist in the coaching and development of Freelance Brand Ambassadors to deliver prescribed sales targets.
- Stay connected to other industry skincare trends/philosophies within the retail and beauty space and proactively keeps up to date on trends.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the retail beauty industry in a training/education position
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Fluent in English and Spanish preferred (read/speak/write).
- Experience leading education programs for retail sales teams, in person and virtually.
- Inspirational leadership style with excellent facilitation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confidence when presenting programs.
- Outstanding team player able to work collaboratively with all internal & external partners.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to embrace and facilitate change.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory a significant portion of each week as necessary and work some weekends as business needs require.
- Proficient use of Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, Zoom and social media platforms.
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy in execution of work and tasks.
- Manage personal travel booking and T&E budget.
- Strong organization & prioritization skills.
- Able to manage numerous projects/events.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and be physically capable of standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
