Role Overview

The position will be based in our Paris office and report to the Regional Design Director, International.

This role is responsible for the design development, regional adaptations and complete execution of 360 go-to-market campaigns and evergreen brand creative across all product categories of Sol de Janeiro. This individual will partner closely with the International Team based in Paris and the Global Creative Team based in New York for design development and execution of marketing campaigns and programs across all International regions (EU, UKI, DACH, Middle East, APAC). They will oversee the rollout and execution of campaign assets and evergreen brand assets across multiple touchpoints including (but not limited to) in-store, digital, e-commerce, print, social, OOH and DOOH while ensuring all 360 creative development strictly complies with global guidelines and brand standards.

This individual must be a strong self-starter with a multi-disciplinary portfolio and experience in commercial art direction, design executions across online and brick & mortar points of sale. They must have a keen understanding of the importance of marketing and creative needs and be able to successfully partner with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, commercial, consumer engagement, copywriting and global creative project management.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Oversee regional and market-specific design development and adaptations for evergreen brand and campaign assets to execute strong, disruptive 360 programmes for evergreen brand creative, new product launches, seasonal campaigns and product repromotion across multiple online and offline channels
  • Concept, develop and execute creative assets for localized campaigns exclusive to International regions and markets
  • Create regional-specific adaptations and execute brand evergreen assets and seasonal campaign for retailer e-commerce channels, paid media, social media, print and in-store
  • Along with International Design Director, identify external agencies and vendors needed to successfully scale and execute global campaign and creative assets across full marketing funnel to meet regional business objectives
  • Manage external agencies and production vendors to ensure all creative assets are adhering to brand guidelines and standards
  • Partner closely with global and regional teams throughout the entire execution phase while escalating to all key stakeholders for proper approvals and alignment
  • Intake high level feedback and interpret to deliver best design solutions

· Organize and formalize the delivery of completed work in partnership with global creative, regional brand managers and commercial leads

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and International business objectives

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Graphic Design or similar
  • 7-8 years experience working in design and art direction; beauty experience is required
  • Software requirements: Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effect, Premiere
  • Must be a Master graphic technician: concerned with resolutions, color, size accuracy and production values
  • Deep knowledge of the digital world with experience in both e-commerce, paid media, social, print and in-store
  • Expertise in full funnel 360 campaign development with hands-on experience in studio and lifestyle art direction, graphic design, digital animation, and print production
  • Must be highly collaborative with the ability to understand the objectives of all cross-functional partners and work toward solutions that meets upholds the creative integrity of the brand
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely – ability to provide and receive constructive feedback that is necessary to improve creative and brand expression
  • Ability to be flexible and collaborative in a fast-paced work environment
