Sol de Janeiro is looking for beauty lovers to join our 2024 Summer Internship Program. Our goal is to provide an enriching and rewarding learning experience that will allow you to gain valuable opportunities to learn and grow, collaborate with your colleagues, and gain valuable hands on experience at our rapidly growing brand!
The Packaging Development Intern will be responsible for completing an internship project and for supporting the Packaging Development Department by assisting with ongoing project work. This role will report into the Executive Director, Packaging Development. This internship is based in our New York City Headquarters. The program dates are June 4th to August 20th (12 weeks). The pay rate for this position is $16/hour.

The Packaging Development Intern will work on the following:
- Develop testing methodology and operating procedures for component validation testing
- Create process and methodology for verifying technical specification conformance of components and finished goods
- Support the implementation of a new specification management system and process

Sol de Janeiro's Internship Program requirements:
- You are a student at an accredited University or College
- You are local to the NYC area for a 12-week internship program
- You have interest in the business areas listed above with some relevant coursework, student clubs, and/or internship experience
- Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
