OVERVIEW
The Creative Project Manager is responsible for managing the timeline process of key creative projects from initiation to completion with a primary focus on retail marketing and education programs. This role will lead the management of creative deliverables and timelines for all visual merchandising across North America and Global doors, as well as manage all creative projects that support our retail marketing and education needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail marketing, experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders and exceptional project management and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including retail marketing, visual merchandising, sales, education and product development to facilitate end-to-end process from strategic planning and creative kickoff to internal reviews, stakeholder alignment and final delivery of all visual merchandising projects, including all updates and new fixture launches globally.
- Partner with Retail Marketing team to support all retail marketing assets, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time and within scope while maintaining high-quality standards; mitigate timeline risks by communicating creative status and resourcing recommendations.
- Partner with Education team to support all key print and digital initiatives and help establish best-in-practice process and workflow for education needs.
- Oversee timelines for project kick-off documentation; ensuring timely completion of briefs and development of project plans that outline scope of work, milestones, deliverables and resource allocation for our internal team as well as agency partners.
- Ensure all cross-functional team members and agency partners are on track with deliverables, clearly communicating risks, finding opportunities and defining specific action plans/contingencies to meet deadlines when obstacles occur.
- Support Sr. Creative Project Manager to develop and maintain tools, forms and trackers to facilitate and improve the project management function.
- Other projects as required/assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5+ years of Project Management experience in the CPG, beauty or equivalent industry, with minimum 2 years direct experience with Retail Marketing assets
- Exceptional project management, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
- A complete understanding of creative workflows, timelines and a demonstrated record of prioritizing and managing creative output
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks with precision and detail
- Demonstrate experience working with and leading cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience working with international team members and agency partners preferred
- Flexible personality to take on new challenges as they come and adjust to work in a fast-paced environment, make prioritization judgements against current resources while keeping bigger-picture business goals in mind.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects) and project management platforms (ex: Wrike, Monday)
- BA or BFA preferred
- Must be based in Los Angeles, CA and willing to work a hybrid schedule
