  • Create, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with business and regulatory needs
  • Review and approve bulk and finished goods (FG) samples, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and specifications; document all approvals in accordance with internal protocols
  • Manage and execute the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes for both production issues and customer complaints
  • Review and revise SOPs created by previous cross-functional teams to align with current business models and brand-specific requirements
  • Lead onboarding and training of contract manufacturers (CMs) on all Summer Fridays’ quality procedures and expectations
  • Maintain formula and FG standards; ensure alignment of specifications with CMs
  • Draft, negotiate, and implement Quality Agreements with CMs and key suppliers
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive Supplier Qualification Program for both contract manufacturers and component/packaging vendors
  • Conduct and document quality questionnaires, vendor assessments, and qualification processes
  • Review all quality-related documentation for accuracy and completeness; prepare and distribute quality reports as needed
  • Evaluate and qualify vendors for current and new programs
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and trends on a quarterly basis
  • Review vendor certifications, manage audit programs, and ensure ongoing compliance
  • Create and manage SOPs, quality forms, and templates to support internal and external quality functions
  • Coordinate sample collection, shipment, and evaluation for new component vendors
  • Represent Quality onsite at CMs or packaging suppliers to conduct inspections and validate CAPAs
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned/necessary
