REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Product Operations

OVERVIEW
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading all key sourcing functions to support the company’s strategic and operational goals. This role will oversee the identification and evaluation of vendors, management of the RFQ process, supplier negotiations, contract execution, ongoing supplier performance and product set up. The Sourcing Manager plays a critical role in driving cost optimization, ensuring cross functional teams are well informed of cost and margin implications and fostering strong supplier relationships across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new vendors to meet the company’s sourcing requirements
- Lead the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process to evaluate vendor capabilities, pricing, lead times, and terms
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements with suppliers to drive cost efficiencies and ensure favorable terms
- Develop and implement supplier performance management programs, including KPIs, scorecards, and quarterly reviews
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Quality, Supply Planning, Marketing and Finance to ensure sourcing aligns with business objectives
- Proactively identify sourcing risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply
- Lead supplier relationship management efforts, fostering collaborative partnerships and resolving issues as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply base to enhance quality, efficiency, and innovation
- Maintain accurate sourcing documentation, contract files, and vendor records
- Capture and generate master data for all products
- Evaluate and recommend sourcing strategies based on total cost of ownership, sustainability, and business needs
- Stay up to date on market trends, raw material costs, and industry developments to inform sourcing decisions
- Additional responsibilities as assigned/necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience, preferably within the skincare, beauty, or CPG industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in supplier negotiation, cost savings, and contract management
- Strong understanding of sourcing best practices and strategic procurement processes
- Experience working with domestic and international suppliers, including contract manufacturers and packaging vendors
- Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools
- Flexible team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Los Angeles, CA as defined by company policy.
