OVERVIEW
The Account Executive Ile-de-France represents Summer Fridays within Sephora stores across Paris and Île-de-France, France, with a strong focus on daily in-store selling and execution. The exact details of the assigned territory to be detailed by the Sales and Education Manager, EU.
This role is primarily field-based. The Account Executive is responsible for being present in stores, selling products, supporting Beauty Advisors, executing trainings, events and ensuring strong brand visibility on the shop floor.
The role is essential to building strong store relationships, operational excellence, and steady sales performance in Île-de-France.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive retail sales in-store by selling, training and developing beauty advisors through education and selling skills. Minimum 4 days per week of selling in-store
- Ensure strong product visibility, clean gondolas, and correct merchandising according to guidelines.
- Plan and execute regular store visits within assigned territory
- Report on inventory levels, track sales performance by door and identify + communicate opportunities to drive sales
- Ability to lead and present trainings, events and animations
- Build business relationships with store teams and managers
- Follow up on requests, feedback, and operational needs
- Review and improve YOY door rankings, growth, and productivity within territory.
- Track sales performance, training completion by store and report key learnings
- Monitor stock levels and flag risks or issues.
- Complete weekly and monthly sales reports
- Share qualitative feedback from store teams and customers
- Ensure smooth execution before, during, and after events, including sales recaps
- Travel regularly within the assigned area
- Occasionally support other regions when needed (trainings, launches, or events)
- Ability and ambition to meet daily, monthly and annual sales goals
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be based in Paris, France
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the cosmetics industry
- Sephora experience is a must
- Passion for selling and training in an in-store environment
- Organized, reliable, and execution-focused
- Goal oriented and ability to make weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals
- Strong presentation skills with ability to create content and activations
- Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work autonomously while following clear direction
- Administratively responsible for timely and accurate reporting and expense control
- Ability to travel as needed based on territory
- Position requires a flexible work schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays
- Some blackout dates based on retailer calendars and events
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and able to create and update simple presentations
- Conversational English
- Fluent in French
