LOS ANGELES, CA

Who We Are

Tower 28 is building a world where beauty is accessible, inclusive, and sensitive. We want to push the boundaries of what beauty should be, a mix of high quality, high standards, and high levels of fun. We want to be a beauty big sister, who knows what’s right (clean, non-toxic, vegan, cruelty-free) but also knows how to have a good time (clean beauty doesn’t have to be so serious!).

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Social Media Marketing Intern, you will support the Digital Marketing Manager in creating and curating compelling social media content to tell our brand story end-to-end, driving brand awareness, engaging our audience, and supporting marketing initiatives with the purpose of educating and entertaining.

This position is hybrid and is based in Los Angeles, California. This position will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and work cross-functionally to develop and execute content strategies across various social media platforms (i.e. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and more).

This position requires a creative mindset, excellent production skills, and a passion for beauty and skincare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and maintains a consistent aesthetic.

  • Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions to engage our audience and foster a sense of community.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategies for user-generated content campaigns, contests, and giveaways.
  • Identify opportunities for engagement and proactively engage with brand and creator accounts to build relationships and brand loyalty across all social media channels.

Who You Are

  • Current undergraduate studying marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in creating social media content, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar, and ability to adapt to different brand tones
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of beauty and skincare trends, creators, and consumer preferences
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive + motivated individual that gets energy from a fast-paced startup environment
  • Open to wearing many hats to learn + grow within the organization (a ‘no task is too small’ spirit!)
  • A highly detail-oriented taskmaster who loves a good checklist + challenge
  • Love to collaborate with others and have strong interpersonal skills
  • Passion for clean beauty, inclusivity, and sustainable practices
  • Strong content storytelling, creation, and copywriting skills
